Show Rules

Dogs that hold a pedigree acknowledged by FCI are able to participate in the show. Castrated, sterilised and sick dogs are excluded from the show, as are bitches in heat. All dogs must be leashed, and also muzzled if they are aggressive. Exhibitors are liable for any damages caused by their dog(s).

Dogs must be vaccinated against rabies in accordance with the law, and they won’t be allowed to enter show premises without a vaccination booklet and the other required veterinarian certificates.

As of 26 October 2017, dogs with cropped ears and a docked tail cannot participate in dog shows on the territory of the Republic of Croatia. Exemptions to this rule are stipulated by the Animal Protection Act.

The organiser reserves the right to change the judges.

Dogs of breeds recognised at the national level may be presented at the dog shows held on 23 and 24 February 2019 in Rijeka. The requirements for registering for the show are the following: the breed must be recognised at the national level, the dog must be entered into the pedigree book of one of the members of the FCI, and the entry fee for the show must be settled, i.e. membership fee for the Croatian Kennel Club for the current year must be paid (for Croatian citizens).
